The Maharashtra Computer & Technical Board established a directorate for Computer and Technical education namely MCTEB. The MCTEB has been started functioning from the year 2004 - 2005. The MCTEB offers various vocational and Technical courses. The course materials are supplied to the students well in advance. There are about 154 PCP Centers throughout the country.
